Description:
Chlorophenesin is a preservative with fungistatic and bactericidal properties, it is widely used in cosmetics and personal care products. As a preservative, it prevents various products from encountering viscosity changes, PH changes, problems with demulsification, visible microbial growth, color changes, and terrible odors problems, etc. Chlorophenesin especially works on fungi, if combined with other preservatives, its function will be enhanced, the most important is to solve the toxic side effects caused by the residues of p-chlorophenol.
Properties:
1. Dissolve in 65°C water or glycerol, propylene glycol.
2. Europe has allowed it as a preservative in cosmetics since 1996, and Japan and the United States also allowed to use it.
3. Compatible with most preservatives (including potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, and methylisothiazolinone).
4. Chlorophenesin is more effective for fungi. When used in combination with other preservatives, the antiseptic effect is enhanced.
